Effective 19 September 2026. Trading name: Duality Digital.
Duality Digital ("we", "us") provides an SEO reporting dashboard: we track keyword rankings, backlinks, domain authority, page speed and search/analytics performance for websites our clients ("you") ask us to track, and present it in a report at app.getduality.com. These terms cover your use of that service.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you give us (site, keywords, contact details) and for keeping your password to yourself. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has access to your account — changing your password automatically signs out every other device.
New accounts start on a free trial with a limited allowance of sites and keywords. Paid plans, their allowances and their prices are shown in your account and may change from time to time; we'll always show you what you're on before anything changes. Some features are optional add-ons, priced per site and added to your plan; what each one costs is shown before you add it.
Paid plans are monthly subscriptions, charged in advance by card and renewing automatically each month until you cancel. Prices are in pounds sterling. Card payments are taken by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number, and Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to how it handles your payment details. Accounts set up by arrangement directly with us are billed as agreed with us instead.
Changing your plan or add-ons. Moving to a bigger plan, or adding an add-on, takes effect straight away, and you are charged the prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period at that moment. Moving to a smaller plan, or removing an add-on, takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for; you keep what you have paid for until then, and nothing is credited or refunded for the difference in the meantime.
If a payment fails. Stripe will retry a failed card payment automatically, and you can update your card under "Manage billing" in Settings. If a payment stays unpaid, we may suspend or end the subscription.
You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have paid for: your reports keep running until then, after which billing and data collection both stop and you are not charged again. You can resume before that date if you change your mind.
If you ask us to end your subscription immediately instead, billing and data collection stop straight away. We do not refund the unused part of a billing period, whichever way you cancel, unless we agree otherwise or the law requires it; nothing in these terms affects any right you have that the law does not allow to be excluded.
Either way, your historical reports are kept in case you want to come back, unless you separately ask us to delete everything (see below and our Privacy Policy).
Separately from cancelling, you can ask us to permanently erase your account and everything tied to it — every keyword, ranking, report and login. This also ends any subscription immediately, without a refund. It is irreversible: once it's done, we cannot recover it, including for you. Invoices and payment records are the one exception, as they must be kept for tax and accounting purposes (see the Privacy Policy). We keep rolling backups as a safeguard against technical failure, not as a way to undo a deletion request; see the Privacy Policy for exactly how long those persist.
We can suspend or close an account that breaches this, or that we reasonably believe is being used to abuse the service or another client.
Rankings, backlinks and domain trust figures come from third-party data providers; speed scores come from Google. We pass these through as reported — we don't independently verify a third-party provider's own accuracy, and a figure can occasionally be wrong, delayed, or temporarily unavailable if that provider has an outage.
We aim to keep the dashboard and its scheduled data collection running reliably, but we don't promise a specific uptime figure, and scheduled collection times may occasionally shift (for maintenance, a provider outage, or similar). We'll always try to flag anything that affects your data.
Your reports are yours to use for your own business. The dashboard software, its design and the Duality Digital name and branding remain ours.
We'll do our best to keep the service accurate and available, but to the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses (like lost business or profit) arising from using the service, from a delay or inaccuracy in third-party data, or from downtime outside our control. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow us to.
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll update the date at the top and let active clients know directly. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
